Born in 1951, in Pungudutivu, Sri Lanka, V. Chellaiah Guhanathan is a movie director, screenwriter, and producer who dealt with Indian Tamil movies. He is the son of Rajeswari and Chelliah with seven siblings. He lived in Jaffna until the point when he was eleven years of age, before moving to India.
