Dilip Rogger

Dilip Rogger is an Indian bike racer who has featured in the Kollywood cinema projects. He celebrates his birthday on 26th October. He completed his schooling from M Venkata Subbarao HS School. He moved to England where he took admission at Binary College where Dilip studied the course of computer science. When he was thirteen years old, he got a chance to ride a Yamaha RX 135 on the roads of Chennai. Since then, Dilip became more involved with bikes. After three years, he decided to enter into the world of racing as he cleared the trials at the Silverstone Circuit (London), and his success in the test enabled him to participate in the racing events.

Two years later, he took part in the Malaysian Super Series 2004 under the category of “Supersports Novice.” Although there were fourteen races in the competition, Dilip impressed everyone with his skills. Eventually, he won the race with 97 points. At the FIM Asian Road Racing Championship in Zuhai, he had to settle for the sixth position. As sports enthusiasts took notice of his achievements, Dilip featured in several lists of top racers in the country.

In 2011he got a wild entry at Moto GP. KTM, a prominent European bike manufacturer, announced a sponsorship deal with Dilip in the year of 2011. He admitted that he preferred European motorcycles as compared to that of Japanese. In an interview with “The Hindu,” Dilip said that speed motivated him to take up the professional sport of motor racing. Before he became interested in vehicles, Dilip competed in several athletic events. He used to be a part of hundred meters sprint contests.

He emphasized that everyone should learn from their mistakes to be successful. Dilip considers crash as a part of the game. In 2011, Dilip made his acting debut in Udamban, a Tamil-language movie. Dilip portrayed the role of a thief in Ramji’s directorial venture. As the plot of Udamban revolves around the town of Madurai, Dilip went to the city where he interacted with the locals to prepare for his role of a Madurai robber. Dilip confessed that he wore lungi for the first time while shooting for Udamban.

He performs different types of exercises such as yoga, swimming, jogging, and cycling. Dilip lays emphasis on the topic of fitness as he believes that it helps him to live a healthy life. Dilip also learned various dance styles for his Kollywood debut. Dilip married his cousin Janani Baskaran on 29 August 2016. Dilip joined the supporters of Jallikattu where he emphasized the importance of the sport as an “integral” part of the Tamil culture. In 2015, Dilip featured in Viraivil Isai. Rogger regularly interacts with his followers on various social media platforms.
