Kishore was born in the year 1974 in Karnataka. Basically, he was a theater artist. When he was doing his graduation in National College, he started to act in various theater plays. He is a Masters Degree holder in Kannada Literature. After his graduation, he started to work as a teacher. Then, he worked as a fashion designer. Kannada movie ‘Kanti’ was his debut movie, which gave him a good career. It got released in 2004. He got the State Award for the Best Supporting role for the movie ‘Raakshasha’. His role in the movie Akash was widely appreciated by the critics. He acted as the brother for four sisters, who brought them up strictly. This movie has the resemblance of the Malayalam movie Hitler. 
 
Tamil director Vetri Maran was searching for a talented Kannada actor, who could speak Tamil well. Kishore caught in his eyes, but the movie was dropped. But, he got a chance in the movie Polladhavan with Dhanush. The movie was a super hit, which gave a good recognition to Kishore. Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Jayamkondaan and Haridas are the super hit movies in which Kishore was praised. Haridas with Sneha is the most appreciated role and Kishore did a lead character. Kishore became the popular and best performer, as a good actor and he got many opportunities and he selected good movies, which had good acting scope. His performance in Arrambam and Thilagar were appreciated well. He has not only performed in lots of Kannada and Tamil movies, but also in Telugu movies. Kishore has proved that art has no language.
 
His current projects are Yatchan, Thoongavanam and Kadhali Kanavillai in Tamil, Ricky, Octopus in Kannada and Cheekati Rajyam in Telugu. Vascodigama in Kannada, a comedy movie is the latest hit movie of Kishore. He has done as the film lead with Parvathy Nair.

Kishore Jayaram is actually known as the “good villain” of Tamil cinema, has done some memorable roles in films such as ‘Aadukalam’, ‘Pollathavan’, ‘Porkalam’, ‘Shaithan’ and ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’. In these films he was given the film centering roles. In the last decade or so, this actor has excelled in bringing us a variety of antihero roles that the industry liked him to cast in major good characters only. This gentle and soft-minded person is actually a lecture-turned-actor who is known for doing “good” villain role in the Tamil film industry. He is also a costume designer for films. Currently, Kishore has now been considered to play an important role in the upcoming Tamil movie ‘ Kabali’. A few months earlier, this actor was seen busy shooting for the Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Thoongavanam’.
 
After Kamal’s film shooting has been almost over, the actor has now been roped in for a key role in Rajinikanth’s next (Kabali). While making a biopic on Veerappan, his looks had so much justified him in playing the character that it turned out to be a stellar performance from the actor. Veerappan was made a bilingual film (Attahasa in Kannada and Vana Yudhdham in Tamil). Kishore was noticed in the Tamil film industry when he got to play the villain Selvam’s role in the Dhanush-starrer Polladhavan. Later on, Aadukalam too brought him much attention. In the same year, his performance in Haridas, where he played a cop and father of an autistic child was critically acclaimed a lot. Kishore (also known as Kishore Kumar G ) is an actor born in Karnataka. He has basically evolved from the theater. Today, he is known as ‘Veerappan’, for portraying the role of a bandit in 'Vana Yuddham' (Tamil), and 'Attahasa' (Kannada), which was directed by A. M. R. Ramesh. It was a technically brilliant biopic of dacoit, Veerappan, and the critics praised the performance of Kishore as Veerappan in the film. The actor always wanted to become an actor, but missed many chances. Before making his debut in acting, he was a professor in Sharada College in Bengaluru, but opted to quit the job. His first break came in the year 2004 in ‘Kanti’, when he was a part-time fashion designer. He bagged the role of 'Byaadara Beera' in the movie 'Kanti', when he was supposed to design the costumes for the film. But as the lady luck had smiled upon him, the actor got his first acknowledgment as an actor by winning the State Award for his performance in the film. In the year 2004, he again won the State Award for his performance in the movie, 'Rakshasa'.

Thus, his journey as an actor began and he got chances to act in other regional languages too, such as Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. His first debut in a Telugu movie was in 2006, when he got a chance to play the role of ACT Rathnam in the movie ‘ Happy’, which was directed by A. Karunakaran. Similarly, his first film in Tamil was 'Polladhavan', in 2007, where he played the role of a don. So far, since 2004, the actor has played various characters such as ACP, father, police inspector, politician, the elder brother, don, etc. In every role, he justified himself by always playing safe, yet natural characters. Some of his prominent movies which brought him much attention include Tamil movies like ‘Haridas’, ‘Aadukalam’ and ‘Vana Yudhham’.

The actor claims that he is always a director’s tool and gives total credit to his director always for his tense performance in movies. Critics have also praised him for playing the role of a forest guard in a Kannada movie, ‘ Jatta’, and another Kannada movie, ' Ulidavaru Kandante', which was screened at the Cannes Festival. His performance in the Tamil movie 'Thilagar', too fetched him rave reviews, although the film received a mixed response. His most anticipated movies to hit the theaters in 2016 would be ‘Kabali’, ‘ Buddhan Yesu Gandhi’ and ' Nisabdham'. The actor has played the lead villain in Kamal Haasan's 'Thoongavanam', and now could be seen in an important role in Rajinikanth's 'Kabali'. The actor was born on August 14, 1974.
