Pandi, commonly known as 'Black Pandi,' is a comedy artist from Tamil Nadu. His original name is Lingeswaran. He is famous for his role in his debut television show 'Kana Kaanum Kaalangal’. He is in the field of cinema since the year 2000 and he has appeared in almost twenty-three movies. Some of the movies that he worked were Ghilli, Autograph, Angaadi Theru, Deiva Thirumagal, Velayutham, Saattai, Poojai, Jilla, etc. He belongs to a family of artists, where his ancestors were stage actors for many generations.
His grandfather Chokkalingam has worked with famous yesteryear actors such as MGR, Sivaji Ganeshan, etc. Pandi also owns 'S Dad' music studio and he aspires to create some good musical hits in the upcoming years. He has done some good songs for a few short films. He got married to Umeswari Padmini, an MBA graduate, on 1 December 2013.
