Suresh Chandra Menon is an Indian cinematographer, actor, and has even served as a director for many movies in the Tamil film industry. His one of the best and most appreciated works includes with his ex-wife Revathi in the Tamil movies Pudhiya Mugam. He has served as the director as well as played the lead role alongside Revathi in the film.

His divorce with Revathi was one of the top Newsmakers of the year 2013. Born into a Malayali family, he was very much interested into direction and filming from a very young age. He initially started directing documentaries and short movies. He moved to the big screen with the 1993 blockbuster Tamil movie Pudhiya Mugam. Two blockbusters in a year gave him huge recognition and fame in the industry. While shooting for the movie he came in contact with the famous actress Revathi. During the shooting, they used to spend time with each other and came to know each other personally and within a short span of time the two fell in love with each other. With their parent's consent, the two got married in 1986. The two did not have children.

Their couple was a perfect couple which was looked up by everyone. For many years their marriage was a perfect one, but in 2002 difference started erupting in their marriage and the two decided to part ways. Suresh and Revathy filed a petition in the family court in Chennai. In 2013 their petition was granted.
