Anaika Soti

Anaika Soti is an Indian actress who was born in the year 1993 in Lucknow. She was brought up in Hong Kong for few years. Then her family returned Mumbai and she did her school education in Panchgani, staying in a hostel with her sister. As both of her parents got work in Malaysia, her family moved to Malaysia; and after completing the schooling, she did a diploma course in Mass Communication. Anaika Soti returned India in 2012. She started to do modeling.

He provided her with an opportunity of acting in one of his bilingual production, at that time. Anaika Soti nodded her instantly and got booked in Satya 2 in the year 2013. It was a Hindi and Telugu Bilingual movie, which became a hit. Though the film was a hit one, many people criticized her negatively. But Anaika Soti proved them that she could do her best through the Tamil movie Kaaviya Thalaivan.

She was also nominated for this movie in the Best Supporting Actress Category. After the success of Kaaviya Thalaivan, she was once again booked by her mentor Ram Gopal Varma in his Telugu movie 365 days. Anaika does not know any of the south Indian languages; but she managed somehow to bring a better output in Tamil and Telugu. Anaika love to do an action movie, if she is provided with a good opportunity. She maintains her body well by regularly practicing yoga. Anaika is a very good dancer.

She says that, if she had not become an actress, she would have become a choreographer. Anaika’s hobby is cooking. She enjoys cooking in her free time. Anaika is a sincere person in her life as well as her career. She wants to be truthful to people and she wants her would be husband to be the same.

Anaika Soti was born on 14th January 1993 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Her luck helped her a lot throughout her career in acting since it was with a lot of luck that she got the opportunity to act in her first film. She was on an elevator when a man next to her asked her if she was interested in acting in his new movie. The man turned out to be Ram Gopal Varma, who was looking for a suitable artist for his latest movie - Satya - 2. Anaika had never imagined that she would pick acting as her career.

From her childhood, Anaika had a lot of worldwide exposure, as long periods of her life were spent abroad, in countries such as Hon Kong and Malaysia. It was in Malaysia that Anaika pursued her higher education along with a diploma course in Fashion Designing. Anaika fancied becoming a fashion designer in Mumbai itself, and it was while she was a Mumbai that she met with director Ram Gopal Varma. Satya 2, which was released in 2013, was a multilingual film which was released in both Hindi and Telugu.

Luck favours Anaika once more as she signs a contract for a Tamil movie – ‘Kaaviya Thalaivan’ during the production of her first movie itself. However, Anaika’s performance in Satya 2 gained a lot of bad reviews and criticisms, Instead of finding them discouraging; Anaika uses them to her advantage, by fixing her faults in her next movie about Satya 2. Her technique of improving upon her faults worked like a charm as she was appreciated for her performance in            ‘Kaaviya Thalaivan’. She was also nominated for the ‘Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress’.

Apart from Hindi and Tamil, Anaika also acts in another Telugu movie called- 365 days, which was also a commercial success.
