Pooja Ramachandran is a famous actress, VJ, and model. She is a Malayali born in the city of Chennai to an army officer. She always followed a disciplined lifestyle, but later completed her studies in visual communication at the CSI Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science in Coimbatore. In 2004, she was crowned the Miss Coimbatore and was the runner-up in the Miss Kerala contest. She became a VJ at SS Music in 2006, where she made a name for herself. Before this, she had already tried her luck in advertisements, when she was 8, and also did some assignments in Bangalore and Coimbatore. She became very famous for her roles in ‘ Nannbenda’, and ‘ Tripura’. She also did a cameo in the romantic comedy movie, Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, and the thriller, ‘ Pizza’. Pooja Ramchandran, who goes by the name of VJ Pooja, is a popular South Indian film actress, VJ, and model. Daughter of an army officer, Pooja studied Visual Communication at the CSI Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science in Coimbatore. A Malayalam from Kerala, born and raised in Bangalore, after her studies Pooja went on to participate in various beauty pageants, winning the 'Miss Coimbatore’ title in 2004. She was also the runner-up for Miss Kerala in 2005, after which she went on to become a VJ at SS Music, and later, an actress. It is here she met and later married Craig Gallyot, another VJ at SS Music. Their marriage involved two ceremonies—the first one was held at the San Thome Basilica and the second one at the famous Guruvayur temple.

But that’s just the beginning. Pooja has a swarm of projects lined up for her. She has just wrapped up filming for the romantic drama, Ore Nyabagam, which is reported to be India's first 2D high frame rate film. She is also working on ‘Andhaghaaram’, a suspense thriller, Muni 3: Ganga, a horror comedy, ‘Nanbenda’, a romantic comedy, as well as Swamy Ra Ra's Tamil remake titled ‘Saami Aattam’. She also has been signed for two unnamed Telugu films.
