Priyadarshini Rajkumar

Priyadarshini Rajkumar is an Indian TV and film actress, short film producer, model, and social worker. She has predominantly worked in Tamil television and movie industry. Born in Chennai, to father Rajkumar, and mother C.K Gariyali, she has a Konkani and Kashmiri origin. Priyadarshini is also known as Priya Rajkumar. She has completed her schooling from The School- KFI, Chennai. After that, she graduated from the Government College of Fine Arts, Kumbakonam. The producer was B. Kailasam. Later, she moved to Australia to work. She got married to Karthikeyan Balaraman, and they have a child named Keemya.

She has also worked in the firm Zurich Financial Services. She returned from Australia in 2012 and made a comeback in cinema. She starred in the movie Achcham Yenbadu Madamaiyada (2015), directed by Gautam Menon where she played the role of a girl named Anamika. Apart from her debut performance in Premi, she has also been a part of the TV soap Ramaney VS Ramaney. She has also received the Best Woman Award by the Rotary Club Adambakkam. She is also one of the prominent organizers of Vasant Utsav Festival of Dance that is organized every year in May at the Kapaleeswarar Temple. She has also learned the art form of classical dance Bharatnatyam, which is one of her hobbies.
