V R Rama

V R Rama is an Indian actress who has worked in the Tamil film industry and TV serials. Rama was born in the Pudukkottai district of Tamil Nadu. She appeared in Tamil movies in 1990 when the director Bharathiraja spotted her and offered her for cast in his movie ‘En Uyir Thozhan’, in which she played the role of a young village girl. In ‘Anthi Varum Neram’, she played the lead heroine role with her younger sister Latha. After her marriage in 1991, she did not appear in movies. She got settled with her husband, Venkatesh, and their two sons. But after a break of around 20 years, Rama was seen in movies again. In 2010, she was again seen in the movie Aval Peyar Thamizharasi, where she played a mother role.
