Aishvarya Raghav

Aishvarya Raghav is an Indian television presenter who works mainly in the Tamil channels. She is best known for her daily news shows on channels such as Sun Tv and News7 Tamil. She was born and raised in Chennai, India. Aishvarya did her schooling at Sunbeam Matriculation Higher Secondary School. She completed her under graduation at English Literature at Auxilium College, Vellore, and holds a master's degree in Media Management from MOP Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai (Madras). During her post-graduation, she interned at Doordarshan, India. While pursuing her post-graduation, she joined a weekly magazine called Snegithi as a student reporter. They promoted her from senior reporter role to the post of sub-editor of the magazine in a quick time. Aishvarya also has a diploma in Human Rights.

Through campus placement, she got a job offer at Sun Tv Network. Aishvarya started her career as a newsreader. After a considerable amount of experience, she moved to Jaya TV, where she took up responsibility for news scripting and presenting. News7 Tamil channel selected Aishvarya in its launching team. Her role became more significant and distinct in the course. She handled the news presenter role as well as the senior program producer. In 2014, she anchored music composer A.R. Rahman's live concert show at Nehru Indoor Stadium. She gathered viewers' attention through her appearances and soon became a popular television figure in Tamil Nadu.

She got promoted as Chief Creative Officer of Ajax Media, the sister company of the News7 channel. Additionally, she was the editor of the e-Magazine Manam. In 2018, she joined the Black Ticket Company, an entertainment production house owned by veteran director Venkat Prabhu, as the company's Chief Executive Officer.

Aishvarya is married to Raghavram Archish, and they have a daughter named Sai Mridula. Aishvarya loves wearing saree and has done several promotions for saree brands. In 2018, she was invited as the guest speaker at MOP Vaishnav College for Women to talk on the topic of Career in Journalism. It is the same institute where she completed her post-graduation. Aishvarya considers the moment as the proudest in her life. Aishvarya is an avid reader and a passionate cook. She writes for magazines too. Aishvarya, though not in the news industry anymore, considers herself forever journalist.
