Dr. Kalanidhi Veeraswami is an Indian 49-year-old politician from Tamil Nadu. Recently he was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India from Chennai North, Tamil Nadu in the 2019 Indian general election as a member of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.
His father Arcot N. Veeraswami, was a former minister for electricity in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. He is a medical doctor by profession and later joined politics. He is a top plastic surgeon at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.
He is presently settled in Chennai. He has a son, who has recently stuck with a controversy of getting arrested by the Traffic Police.
