Mercury Sathya is an Indian producer who is known for his work in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in Kollywood whose notable works include television shows like Mahalaxmi and Chandralekha. Mercury Sathya comes from the small town of Kodungaiyur in Chennai, where he did his schooling at TTV High School. He graduated with a B.Com degree from Sir Theagaraya College, and he did his further studies at the University of Madras. He has done some work as a supporting actor and has been a part of the production of several commercial screen ventures. A lot of his shows have aired on the widely watched channel, Sun TV. He has also worked as an advocate in the Madras High Court in parallel with his intensive work towards cinema. Sathya has been a prominent face among media circles and he has established various welfare groups for the people of his state. He is the Chairperson of the Mercury College of Arts and Science in Arakkonam.
