S Michael Rayappan

S. Michael Rayappan ( Siluvai Michael Rayappan) born on March 19,1963 in Nandhankulam Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu is a film producer, an official Member of Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu from Radhapuram constituency and an Indian politician. He is currently 54 years of age. His father’s name is Siluvai Anthony. Rayappan is from Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) party- a party which is formed by Tamil Film Actor, Vijayakanth. Under the banner of Global infotainments, he produced many films like Sindhu Samaveli, Naadodigal, Goripalayam, etc. During the elections of 2011, Rayappan earned 67072 votes with 48.36% of voting from Radhapuram Constituency. His voting symbol was Nagara and was 48 years of age at that time.

He won the elections with a margin of 21475 votes against Indian National Congress (INC). Currently, Michael Rayappan is producing three films at the same time with Jeeva, Atharva, and Vimal in the lead roles. In 2013, there occurred a confusion that who is going to star in Tamil remake of ‘Temper’ (a super hit Telugu movie) in Kollywood.
