Ramya Subramanian

Ramya Subramanian is a very popular TV host and actress. Ramya hails from Chennai. Many of them can easily identify her as VJ Ramya. She is one of the most endowed actresses in the Tamil film industry. She is well known for the characters she chooses to do in the films. In the year 2004, she participated in Ms. Chennai competition. She was among the finalists in that competition. Before emulating in such a candidacy, she was already done with her first project, a movie named “The Missing.” In that talkie, she portrayed the role of a doctor. Subsequently, she continued with her acting career.

She eventually got married to Chennai-based auditor Aparajith Jayaraman and in not less than a few month, they broke up. But now she has become very selective. She will not host the same show again and again else she will get bored. She has also worked as a radio jockey at BIG FM 92.7. In the year 2015, she received an opportunity to work in Mani Ratnam’s O Kadhal Kanmani. She was asked to play the role of, Dulquar’s friend, Ananya. Her performance was very well taken by everyone.
