While he was shooting for his first movie ‘Govinda Govinda’ he came in touch with famous director K. Raghavendra Rao, who signed him to act in three different projects which were set to be  shaping up in the subsequent years. He is one of the few Tollywood actors who has displayed his talent and professionalism right from the day he was a toddler.

After having established a strong ground as a child artiste in Tollywood, he is seeking some big projects, and he is not keen on indulging in further studies or even taking up business. He does not want to act in TV shows. 

Since he made an appearance in movies, he wants to stick to that formula of acting. While he was a child actor, he was even approached to do some TV serials, and he also worked in three such TV series. It is not that he rejects TV acting purposely, but he wants to shine like a star in Tollywood on the big screen. He is passionate about acting in movies.

He has completed his schooling from St. Marys, Hyderabad. Additionally, he was pursuing business management course from IIHM.  When he was busy as a child actor, he got an offer to act as a teenage actor, but Anil Raj was hesitant to be part of those projects as he felt his studies would suffer then.

He also completed his acting course in “Theatre fox,” based at Vizag. He is ready to accept those roles which suit him and which will give him a reckoning in the industry. He started his career as a child actor, and after growing up now, he wants to earn his name and reputation in the Tollywood acting field.
