Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi (also known as Krish) is a Telugu film director who has now balanced both Tollywood and Bollywood in his career graph. Just a few movies old, this director made his name in the list of young talented directors.

By his first two films, he fetched himself wide acclaims of both critics and the audience. Above all, his films have fetched him recognition on the national level. His film ‘Kanche’ (2015) fetched the best movie in the Telugu language on the national level. The film was the winner of the national award in at the 63rd National Award ceremony.

Prior to it, his debut directorial movie, 'Gamyam' (2008), that featured Allari Naresh, and Sharwanand in lead roles, fetched him Nandi Awards and even South Filmfare awards. The whole Indian film industry was inspired by this Telugu film and the film was remade in three other Indian languages such as Tamil, Kannada, and Bengali.

R. K. Jagarlamudi, also known as Krish, was born on the 10th of November 1978in Andhra Pradesh, India. He is a film director by profession and mainly directs Telugu movies, but he has directed some Bollywood movies as well.

In the year 2015, he won the Filmfare National Award for the Best Feature Film in the Telugu language for the war drama Kanche. It was set up in Nazi Germany and the direction was outstanding. In the second edition of the famous Indywood Carnival in the year 2016 held at Hyderabad, Kanche was one of the nominations in the Indywood Panorama Competition division.  

Krish made his debut in Telugu Film Industry with the film Gamyam in the year 2008. The film starred some very famous actors like A. Naresh, K. Mukherjee, and Shamaprasad. The producer of the film was none other than his father: Jagarlamudi Saibaba.

Even his brother-in-law and his near friend Reddy turned up as producers only to help their friend succeed since many famous and well-known producers of the industry had rejected his offers. For that film, he won the Best Director and the Best Picture Award at the National Filmfare Awards in the year 2009 Vedam was the next directorial venture of Krishand it starred a line of popular actors like Allu Arjun, A. Shetty, M. Manchu.   

This film was widely appreciated and critically acclaimed. Krish won the Best Director National Award for this film in the 58th National Filmfare Awards. Vedam was his second film only and he already won three awards. He was at the peak of his success.
