Kommineni Seshagiri Rao

Kommineni Seshagiri Rao was a known South Indian movie director and popularly known for the movies he directed in Telugu. He was born in 1939 at Ponnekallu village, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. He had a happy personal life with four sons and a daughter. Even though Kommineni Seshagiri Rao is from a small village he always wanted to work in film industry. After so many efforts and trails finally he entered into Tollywood a started playing villain roles in the movies. His dialogue delivery used to be very catchy and strong because of his powerful, rough voice.

\Soon he became notable for the negative roles he played. In 1967, lastly, Kommineni Seshagiri Rao played a lead role as a hero in the movie “Goppavari Gotralu” and this movie had brought him decent recognition in the industry. Later on, he acted in almost fifty movies and few of them such as “Taatha Manavadu”, “Sri Krishna Paandaviyam” etc were super hits and are still considered as classics. Kommineni Seshagiri Rao had worked in various departments of the Telugu movie field. This did not stop him from involving in movie making and Kommineni Seshagiri Rao directed many movies with superstars and also introduced few new actors to the Tollywood under his direction.
