NVB Choudary

NVB Chowdary is a director of Telugu movies. But earlier, he was associated with script supervision for animated films. One of the films was ‘Ghatothkach’ (2008) which was a kid animated film and had won a 'special mention' award at the children International film festival of India. This animated film was a mythological movie which was based on Mahabharata epic. The film was to entertain the children and even got a special screening at Cannes Film Festival in 2008. ‘Ghatothkach’ was a brain work of creative director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao.

In the year 2011, he was again associated as a script supervisor for the movie "Jai Bolo Telangana' which was produced and directed by N. Shankar. The film was screened at the Goa International Film festival and it had Smriti Irani and Jagapathi Babu in lead roles. The film won the best children film in International Children film festival held in Bengaluru. The film swept many more awards held at the children film festival in cities like Hyderabad or Kolkata and even won praise when it was screened in Lahore (Pakistan). It is also the first Telugu script to be preserved in “Oscar Library‘s permanent core collection” and First ever Telugu film to vie for a nomination and among the other 324 feature films in 2014 in Oscar.

The film speaks about a blind child's efforts to edit a video hoping to become a director. It is all about a boy who shoots a film in a video format and dreams to become a director, but when he is busy editing the movie, he becomes blind. So his parents send him to blind orphanage.
