Vamsi Krishna Akella is a writer, director in Telugu cinema. He began his career with Vamsy's’ Anumanaspadam’ in which he has written the story. It was a thriller movie which had Aryan Rajesh and Hamsa Nandidin playing the lead roles.

The film released in 2007IN the year 2008, he made his debut as an independent director. His first debut film as director was ‘Raksha’ which was produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Azam Khan. For this movie, he also wrote the story and screenplay.
