Kadali Satyanarayana is a female lyricist and writer born in the Khammam region of Telangana; her medium of language is Telugu; she graduated with MA in English and grew up in a house seeped in literature. The reality being the daughter of a writer, reading and writing have been lifelong habits for the twenty-year-old who is against gender stereotypes. Writing, for her, is likely a medium to get things terminated, where she could not speak verbally. There was a misunderstanding for many when we hear Kadali, people pretend it is a family name, and Satyanarayana is the person's name. In reality, there existed a history behind the name Satyanarayana. Kadali had good terms of relationship, the purest form of love and affection towards her grandfather Satyanarayana, since childhood.

Grandfather played a dominant role and planted the seed in Telugu literature. In; 2010, Kadali's first poem on pesticides has published in a daily newspaper. Kadali means Sea. The ocean that looks happy on the top is full of conflict at the grass root level. She published her first book, combining conflicts from 40 couples into 40 love stories. She added her grandfather's name ‘'Satyanarayana'’, to hers after his demise. After her grandfather's demise, she started interacting with women from different age groups and found that their journeys in love have similar characteristics. Each letter in the book is a story says- Kadali. Chalam's writing paved toward writings on women and society, which gradually altered Kadali’s way of thinking. Prema is the first attempt to increase the interest of present youth in reading books and publishing their experiences on social media.
