Ranjith Belluri

Ranjith Belluri is a film director who works in the Indian movie industry. A majority of his projects belong predominantly to the Telugu language. He is a native of the city of Hyderabad located in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He attended and completed his schooling and elementary education from Hyderabad itself.

Then he got a degree in engineering. He worked in Andhra for one and a half years before moving to Mumbai to pursue his dream of becoming a director and getting into the field of filmmaking. He visited the country of Mexico for some official work, and there he met someone who showed interest in being the producer of a Telugu language film.

He contacted the man, Ravinder Kumar and arranged for a meeting with him in the United States. Once Ravindra liked the movie’s script he agreed to produce it. He made his first movie at the young age of 23. The movie U & I released in the year 2010. It caught the eye of the audiences because of its catchy caption which read Love, Sex, and Suicide. The story talks about two people with completely opposite characteristics and traits.

The guy is an introvert in nature while the girl is an extrovert. He is slow and insecure while she is fast and pretty. The narrative has the backdrop of a college and deals with the dynamic between these two protagonists. Scenes took place in actual, authentic and locations and within a limited budget in the city of Hyderabad. The tagline or caption of the title is a gift of the story which talks about the second chance that a person gets in life.

The actors in the movie include Rohan who was an engineering student and Ranjith’s classmate. The two of them created in youtube videos together while in the United States. The female actors in the film are Aditi Chowdary Aditi Chowdary is the dazzling young talented star >> Read More... and Alisha. Ranjith believes that it isn't hard making a small budget project, but the hard part is when you wish to release it so that audiences can watch it in the cinema halls and theatres. He waited for the right opportunity for the release of the film as he wanted proper theatres for the premiere of the movie. He believes that as he is a young filmmaker his stories are relatable to the college crowd. His next project is also set in a college but is going to be a political drama involving college politics.
