Kamna Jethmalani is an Indian model and film actress. She was born on December 10, 1985, in Mumbai, India to Divya, a homemaker and Nimesh Jethmalani, an entrepreneur. She was often called as Dinky. She is the granddaughter of Indian lawyer and politician, Ram Jethmalani. Kamna started her career by joining the Miss Mumbai competition in the year 2004, following an appearance in Bombay Vikings’ music video for the song, Chhod Do Aanchal Zamaana Kya Kahega.
She was married to Suraj Nagpal, a mechanical engineer who’s running a manufacturing firm in Bangalore. In 2005, she was debuted in the Telugu film, Premikulu. This film failed to make it to the box office. She was later starred and debuted in the Tamil romance-masala film, Idhaya Thirudan, alongside
Jayam Ravi in the lead roles. In 2006, she made her breakthrough in the Telugu comedy film, Ranam, opposite Gopichand.
This cinema became a big hit. In the same year, she acted with
Jagapati Babu in the Telugu film, Samanyudu and made a cameo appearance and an item number in the Telugu action film, Sainikudu. She was cast in the Upendra-starred film, Toss, in 2007. Kamna made her debut in the Kannada film industry through the romantic drama film, Ugadi, which was helmed by Om Sai Prakash. Later that year, she was starred in the Tamil film, Machakaaran, along with Jeevan in the lead roles. In the year 2008, she was seen in a special appearance in the action comedy-thriller film, King, which stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Trisha Krishnan.
Kamka made an item number to the tune of Nuvvu Ready Nenu Ready. In 2009, she acted in the Telugu films, Bendu Apparao R.M.P and Rajadhi Raja. This was succeeded by another Telugu comedy film, Kathi Kantha Rao, alongside
Allari Naresh, whom she had previously worked in Bendu Apparao R.M.P. Kamna made a special appearance as the second heroine in the Malayalam film,
Makeup Man, which stars Jayaram in 2011. In the same year, she was starred in Thirumalai’s Kasethan Kadavulada.
In 2013, she acted in the Telugu 3D film entitled Action 3D, which is the Indian adaptation of the American cinema,
The Hangover. She played the character of the Queen in the biographical-devotional film, Jagadguru Adi Shankara and had been part of Veerabhadram Chowdary’s Bhai. By the year 2014 and 2015, Kamna acted in two Kannada films respectively; Agraja and the bilingual horror film, Chandrika. In an interview, the talented actress unveiled that she is already pregnant with her first baby.
