Neetu Chandra is a famous actress in South India. She was on 20 June 1984 in Patna, Bihar. Neetu completed her schooling from Notre Dame Academy and pursued her graduation from Indhraprastha College. Neetu was very passionate about modeling, but her father did not want her to go with films. But Neetu’s mother guided and encouraged her. Neetu gives major credits to her mother for her successful career. Nithin Chandra, brother of Neetu is a director.
Neetu started her career with small advertisements before entering films. She initiated her film career with the Hindi film Garam masala. Her portrayal as Sweety, an air hostess got her critics appreciation. She then did a Telugu film Godavari as sister-in-law for Sumanth. This movie helped her in grabbing a lot of opportunities. She did Vishnu, Satyameva Jayathe movies in Telugu. She did a cameo role in the Akkineni family’s prestigious movie Manam. She became talk of town in Tollywood when she made allegations against veteran Telugu actor, Raja Sekhar. She alleged that hero Raja Sekhar has harassed her during Sathyameva Jayathe movie shooting. Apart from film career, Neetu produced a Bhojpuri film Deswa which was directed by her brother. Neetu is the brand ambassador of Hoop.
