Pavitra Belliappa

Pavitra Belliappa or Ujwala is a Kannada, film actress. She is the only child in her family, and everyone is expecting that she would become an entrepreneur someday since she took M. Com at Jain College. Many of her friends from college were into arts and showbiz and the reason why she got interested in entering the filmdom. She had her portfolio done and eventually got her first role in the Kannada film, KA. In the beginning, she did not let her parents know that she auditioned for a role. She just told them just right after the promotional photo shoot of the film.

Though her mother agreed with her decision, her father was reluctant at first and told her to get married or start her own business. Pavithra was trained in Nagathihalli School of Cinema. Her first film, KA, did not earn success at the box office but she finds it a good learning ground. Pavitra made her debut feature film in Aravind Mulgol’s 2013 mythological film, Sri Amareshwara Mahatme.
