Sagarika Chhetri

Actress, model and anchor Sagarika Chhetri was born on 1st January 1990 in Darjeeling, India. Her career began right after her success at the 2013 Femina Miss India Kolkata, for which she took the crown home. In the same year, Sagarika landed a job as a host at ZoomTV for the show “Planet Bollywood.” This experience allowed Sagarika to venture deeper into the show business. Her name quickly spread around the community, and Sagarika was soon hosting significant events both in the sports and entertainment field. In 2015, Sagarika landed an important role when she hosted the Indian Super League (ISL) on Star Sports. Her love for sports and passion for anchoring shined throughout her interviews with major national and international players.

After this, Sagarika became a go-to person for hosting major events. She has hosted several sports events like the Commonwealth Games in 2022, Khelo India, International League T-20 (ILT-20), Asia Cup, and many more. Her ability to balance sports and media reporting, professionalism and charisma while reporting or interviewing athletes and Bollywood celebrities, coupled with her insightful knowledge and fun persona, made her one of the most-respected anchors in India.
