Sunitha

Sunitha is a famous Indian actress known for her roles in south Indian films during the 1990’s. She was born on 14th July 1972. She is the daughter of Venugopal Shivaramakrishnan and Bhuvana. She was born in the state of Andhra Pradesh. She currently resides in South Carolina i.e. in the United States of America with her husband Raj and her son Shashank. She has also done some Malayalam movies like Nirabhedangal and Kanikanum Neram. Mrugaya and Appu are some of the popular Malayalam movies she acted in. She made her debut into the Kannada film industry through the movie Anukulakobba Ganda in 1990 which was directed by M.S.Rajashekar. She had last appeared in a Hindi Movie named Dum in the year 2003. Sunitha is also known by the names Kodai Mazhai, Vidya, and Vidya Shree. Sunitha is loved by her fans not only through movies but also for her dancing skills. She is also a well-known classical dancer. She has learned Bharatnatyam. She started dancing when she was just three years old and did her arangetram when she was 11.

She has received the privilege of experiencing the old tradition of ‘Gurukul‘ She has done her Bharatnatyam training in Vazhuvoor style from Padmashree Vazhuvor Ramaiyya Pillai and his son Kalaimamani Vazhuvoor R. Samaraj Till today she has presented more than 200 dance recitals all over the world.
