BC Hari Charan Prasad is a NRI from USA and works as a producer in the Telugu film industry. He has made significant contributions both as a producer and a director. He was born and brought up in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. He did his graduation in the field of science and holds a post-graduate degree in Sociology. He used work as an officer in the Indian Bank for 12 years. BC Hari Charan Prasad also joined Global Trust Bank. He has specialized in Forex and Treasury management and went to USA to work for Peoplesoft. BC Hari Charan Prasad made his debut as a producer with the film “Kamli” directed by KNT Shastri in 2006. The film won Nandi and National Awards. He made his debut as a director in 2009 with “Shh…” a thriller movie about a girl who dies in accident due to foolishness of some youngsters in the village. The story is adopted from an English novel written in 1958.
