Palem Srikanth Reddy was a renowned entrepreneur turned politician who later became a famous Telugu movie producer. Reddy was born as the talented son of famous Chief Justice Palem Chennakesava Reddy in August 1963. The technocrat hailed from the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh and was famous for his vibrant personality and kind demeanor toward people needing help.

Srinkanth Reddy completed his matriculation in 1978 from Hyderabad Public School. He received his intermediate degree during 1978-1980 from Little Flower Jr. College, Hyderabad. Later in the year 1984, Reddy graduated as an Industrial Engineer from Regional Engineering College (REC, now NIT), Trichy. He took his educational career to new heights after completing his MS in 1989 from the well-known Stanford University, USA.

Reddy embarked on his entrepreneurial career as a manager in Logistics/Distribution operations at Hewlett Packard, Singapore. He later collaborated with Emery Worldwide (now UPS), India, as a Joint Venture Partner. In 1999, the visionary genius launched the firm Four Soft Limited (provider of software products). Reddy sold the business organization to a UK-based company in August 2013. Later, Reddy served as the founder Chairman and Managing Director of Palred Technologies Limited.

Srikanth Reddy also made his political debut when he joined, Telugu Desam Party in 2007. Further down the line, Reddy established his political party named "Janapalana" while actively engaging in various philanthropic activities. In 2009, Reddy fought for a Lok Sabha seat in his hometown Kapada against Congress nominee Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. However, he lost the contest and, after a while, decided to shift focus from politics to his economy business.

The noted industrialist cum politician tested the waters in the Telugu film industry as well. In a rather maiden effort, Srikanth Reddy produced a Telugu flick, "M2 - Music Magic," in September 2013. The film was directed by filmmaker Mantraaskar DS and produced under the banner of Palred Media and Entertainment. After the film performed poorly at the box office, Reddy quit making films. Srikanth Reddy passed away at 57 in Hyderabad after succumbing to Coronavirus infection.
