Shiva Parvathi

Shiva Parvathi is a well-known actress in Telugu. She portrayed mostly mother characters in movies and serials. She came from lower middle class family. She studied until 7th standard only because of her financial status. She started her acting career at the age of 13 years on stage and in the period of 1976-1977. She did many stage shows up to 1991. She was born and brought up in Tenali, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. In the year of 1991, Paruchuri brothers had seen her on a stage show and then they asked to act for their movie. From there on, her acting career started. Her first movie was Sarpayagam. In this movie, she played mother role for hero and hero Sobhan babu played heroine’s father role. She always remembers Sobhan Babu’s words whenever she feel nervous “we also came like you don’t worry”.

Shiva Parvathi’s husband is also a theatre artist. Recently, we heard her saying about girls who attempt suicides because of love failures quoting “she does not like that type of women and she hate that type of women because they don’t think about their families and give up their lives for the sake of love. She cited herself as an example saying that she faced many problems in her life because she didn’t have any qualification, she didn’t have money, but she has talent and because of that talent only he has reached where she is today.

Her favourite movie is Aahwanam and she like directors like S.V. Krishna reddy, K. Vishwanath, K. Raghavendra Rao, and etc. She said that she learned many things from acting like she learned discipline from J.V. Ramanamurthy and Gummadi Venkateshwara rao. And her strength is self confidence, and her weakness is kindness. She got many awards like Nandi award for Dokka seethamma tele film. She said many-a-times that more than this awards she enjoy doing characters like her character in Seema Simham.

Shiva Parvathi was born in Tenali, Andhra Pradesh. Her full name is Shiva parvathi Polisetty. Her father’s name is Pichayya and her mother’s name is Nagamani. Her husband’s name is P.Bhanu and she has a son named P.Murali krishna. She resides in K.P.H.B, Hyderabad. Her mother tongue is Telugu and she knows Tamil and Kannada languages also. She completed her S.S.C.

Shiva parvathi is a Telugu character actress who has acted in almost 250 Telugu films. She became a stage artist at an age of 13 years and has 16 years of experience as a stage artist. She entered into films with the Telugu film Sarpayagam directed by Parchuri Gopala Krishna and produced by D.Rama Naidu in the role of hero’s mother. Some of her prominent films include- Sarpayagam, Orey Riksha, Oho Naa Pellanta, Annamayya, Pandu Rangadu, Sriramadasu, Srirama Rajyam etc. She has received two Nandi Awards as Best Supporting Actress.

Shiva Parvathi had been a part of the hit series, “ Vadinamma It is a television serial on Maa TV. The main cast >> Read More... ,” the remake of the Tamil serial, Pandian Stores, with Sujitha as the lead. In August 2020, Shiva Parvathi was affected by Coronavirus and had been admitted to the hospital. Due to some complications, she had to shift to two hospitals. After ten days of treatment, she returned home and continued her medications. She released a video that had been spread virally all over. Shiva Parvathi stated in her video that she learned a lot during the corona period. It was only the star couple, Jeevitha and Rajasekhar, who vested their hands and helped her when she was ill, stated Shiva Parvathi. She said that Vadinamma serial unit didn’t help her during her tough time when she was fighting against Coronavirus. However, she thanked everyone for making her understand the reality.
