Shakalaka Shankar is an actor in Telugu Television and Telugu Film Industry. He is known for his comical timing and sense of humour. He rose to fame with his superhit comedy show Jabardasth. Not only is he a well-known comedian in Television, he has also made a name in the Telugu Film Industry with his phenomenal contribution to over 25 movies. He also is known for the frequency with which he does his films, in the last two years, he has been a part of over 15 movies. In 2016, he married his Uncle’s daughter Parvati and is now settled in his family.

Shankar gives full credit to the TV Show Jabardasth for his fame and prosperity. It is an ETV network show which started in the month of February in 2013. It works around the concept of stand-up comedy in languages Telugu and Kannada. The basic concept of the show is that comedians from the Film Industry outwit each other in order to win amazing cash prizes. The sequel to the show – Extra Jabardasth has started in 2016. Shankaraabharanam, Right Right, Raju Gari Gadhi, Nayaki, Naayagi Tamil and Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bayem are some of his ventures in the Film Industry.

Shakalaka Shankar is a known comedian and has done numerous comical roles in movies. In the year of 2015, he was seen in films like Jatha Kalise, Sahasam Seyyara Dimbaka, Intelligent Idiots and some more. Nandini Nursing Home, Control C, Premikudu and Seethamana Andalu Ramayya Sitralu are his latest flicks which released in 2016. He is currently acting in the movie Sapthagiri Express which is all set to release in 2017.

He is also well-known for his roles in the 2016 flicks Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam and Savitri. Recently, Shakalaka’s name made the papers for his controversy with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. Shankar has admitted that he is a die-heart fan of the star and has even said that his life ambition is to be able to make a temple for him. However, during the shoot of one of his recent films Shankar allegedly got slapped by Pawan. People present on the set claim that Kalyan got furious by Shankar’s frequent tantrums and lost his temper. However, Shakalaka Shankar denied this and said that Power Star only warned out when didn’t perform well.
