Kritika Singhal

Kritika Singhal is an Indian Television actress. She is best known for playing the lead role in the TV show ‘ Jhansi Ki Rani Jhansi Ki rani is a historical drama based on the >> Read More... ’ in 2010. She played the role of Rani Lakshmi Bai- Queen of Jhansi.

She was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She has studied at Methodist High School in Kanpur. From Amity University she completed her graduation in Mass Communication, from Delhi. She moved to Mumbai to pursue her career in acting. She started her career by working in an ad agency for Hungama TV.

She started working in TV shows from 2007 in the show ‘ Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi - This Indian show >> Read More... ’. She also worked in the TV series ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay’. She played the role of Aarti in the show ‘Punar Vivaah’ in 2012. After then, she has worked in many TV series. She also participated in ‘Lux Kaun Jettega Bollywood Ka Ticket’ reality show.

She also appeared in a comedy-drama movie ‘My Father Godfather’ in 2014. She played the role of Jhanvi in this movie. She last appeared on the show ‘Kasam’ on Colors TV in 2018. She won many awards for her acting including Madhavrao Scindia Leadership Award for Best Television actress in 2010 and Gold Awards for Best Lead actress in 2017. She married Nikitan Dheer in 2014.
