Anjum Habib is a veteran Urdu Tv, Radio, Stage and Film Actor from Islamabad, Pakistan. He is known for his marvelous acting skills in various dramas. He worked in the documentary/drama film “Khamosh Pani” (2003), an Indo-Pakistani movie about a widowed mother and her young son living in a Punjabi village as it underwent revolutionary changes during the late 1970s. It won seven awards, including Best Actress, Golden Leopard (Best Film), and Best Direction at the 56th Locarno International Film Festival, Switzerland.

He was also part of the web series “Mrs. & Mr. Shameem”. It about Shameem, a caring and soft spoken man, who falls in love and eventually marries his best friend, Umaina. The film got Official Selection at eight international film festivals, including Festigious International Film Festival (Los Angeles, USA), AAB International Film Festival (India), Creation International Film Festival (Canada), CKF International Film Festival (UK), London City International Film Festival (UK), Lake View International Film Festival (India), Madrid International Film Festival (Spain) and Eurasia International Film Festival (Moscow, Russia). “Gumm” received more than fifteen nominations and won seven awards from these international film festivals. According to Anjum, his favourite character among the ones he has witnessed on screen was in a serial from Rawalpindi, Islamabad “Ashtrab” which was performed by Syed Shakir Sahib.
