Shafqat Cheema’s birth date is 20 November 1955. He was born in Lahore, Pakistan. He is a veteran and legendary actor and producer. Shafqat completed his graduation from the Jamia Naeemia religious school in 1974. He decided to become an actor when he coincidently walked into the Shahnoor Studios. He revealed that he struggled for almost 12 years before making his debut. Shafqat was offered a side role in the film Kalka (1989). His sons, Sheharyar Cheema and Umar Cheema are actors and director as well as producer Nadeem Cheema, is his brother.
Shafqat has been working in the industry for more than three decades. He is popularly known for playing villain roles and is titled "Pakistan’s favorite villain.”In 2017, he produced the movie Geo Sar Utha Kay, in which his sons participated. He has also made appearances in the shows Khuda Aur Muhabbat (2011) which aired on Geo TV,
