Hamayoon Khan is one of the most prominent singers in the Urdu music industry. He is a respected figure and an inspiration to aspiring singers in the Pakistani film industry. He is a popular Pashto musician from Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Peshawar. One of the major breakthroughs in his career was getting featured in Coke Studio Season 5. Some of his popular songs are "La me che zargi ta ranizde na ve" and "Gule Ro Ro Raza," among many others. He sang many songs for AVT Khyber.

He was invited as a state guest by Afghan President Hamid Karzai, given the best singer award in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and recently won everyone's hearts with his rendition of "Larsha Pekhawar Ta" in Coke Studio. The Coke Studio gave Khan an opportunity to release an album that comprises music in Pashto, Urdu, English, Punjabi, and Persian. He is a composer and music artist, Executive director, and CEO at the Hamayoon Khan Development Foundation. He has also served as the Manager of Culture, Marketing, and Information at the Culture and Tourism Authority.
