20 Shows That Replaced Their Actors Since television shows follow hectic schedule, they cannot deal with an actor taking long sick leaves, throwing tantrums, delaying shoot or frequently asking for a raise in their fees. So, the actors change, and although it has gotten less frequent in the past few years, the new actors often just randomly pop up on the screen, that becomes very confusing for the audience. This is perhaps the most recent change, where the male lead of several years, Karan Mehra quit the show and was replaced by Vishal Singh as Naitik. It is said that although Hina Khan and Karan Mehra shared a great chemistry on-screen, the two were not half as cordial off-screen. Moreover, Karan did not want to be seen as an old man and a father-in-law.

2. ' Diya Aur Baati Hum'

Gautam Gulati used to play the role of Sooraj’s younger brother, Vikram Rathi but had to be replaced by Karan Goddwani when he decided to join Bigg Boss. It worked out well for both the actors, as Karan got a job and Gautam got more fan following and popularity than ever before. He even got his own show after he became the winner of Bigg Boss.

3. ' Ishq Ka Rang Safed'

The show started off well with a social issue at its heart, as widow remarriage is quite an important topic. However, things went a little haywire when Eisha Singh left the show for ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani Season 2’. So the female lead, Shritama Mukherjee was replaced by the super bubbly Asha Negi and Vibhav Roy was replaced by Aly Goni.
