The woman gets a multiple personality disorder. She thinks she is the court dancer Nagavalli whom the king burned to death. Everyone feels she is possessed. The movie shows us how the psychiatrist solves her problem.
3. Rama Shama Bhama:
This movie released in 2004, was a remake of the Tamil movie, Sathi Leelavathi. Ramesh Aravind and Urvashi played the lead roles while Kamal Hasan played the supporting role. The movie was a commercial success. The actors got a lot of praises for their performance. Rama, the husband of Bhama, falls in love with a young girl Priya. Rama’s friend Shama gets to know about his extra marital affair. The movie shows us how Bhama gets to know about her husband’s love story.
Julie, a movie that released in 2006, is a remake of the Malayalam movie “Chattakari”. Though the Malayalam movie was a blockbuster, the Kannada version did not see success. Ramya plays the lead role in the film. The film is about a Christian girl who falls in love with a Hindu guy. One fine day she finds out that she is pregnant. Therefore, she leaves the place and stays elsewhere till she delivers the kid. In the end, after a lot of struggle, the Hindu family accepts her and the kid.

Ramya Krishnan playing the lead roles. This movie is a remake of the Tamil movie “Ratha Kaneer”. The movie broke all box office records and was the highest grossing film in that year.
Katari Veera Surasundarangi, which released in 2012, is this movie’s sequel. The film shows us the story of an Indian who hates the Indian rituals and is completely fascinated by the western culture. He marries a simple village girl just for his parent’s sake, though he loves a sex worker.
6. Naanu Nanna Kanasu:

Prakash Raj and Amoolya was a remake of the Tamil hit “Abhiyum Naanum”. The film got a positive response from the public and also made them shed tears. The movie is about an over protective father, who loves his daughter a lot. She is the apple of his eye. The girl’s father is a bid don. The girl’s uncle hunts for them and finds them. The girl gets married to another guy, and the boy becomes mentally retarded.
This Kannada romantic comedy is a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster “Bodyguard”. Dileep and Nayantara played the lead roles in the Malayalam movie. In the Kannada version Jaggesh and
Daisy Shah played the lead. This movie is remade in Tamil and Hindi as well. The film got very positive reviews on its release. The movie is about a man who is the bodyguard of Daisy Shah. He falls in love with a woman whom he never saw, but only spoke to on the phone. The woman turns out to be Daisy Shah.
10. Kempe Gowda:
Kempe Gowda, an action-thriller movie, was released in 2011. The film is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster movie “
Singham”. Sudeep and Ragini play the lead roles. The movie was remade in Hindi as well. It was a super hit in the year 2011 and also won many awards. The protagonist is a sub-inspector, an honest man. He fights against the mafia gang and others to protect the law and order of that locality.
