The actor will be seen in a new film portraying the role of the famous South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The film is a post-apartheid drama based on the book 'The Archbishop and the Antichrist’ and will begin shooting from next year. The same titled film will show Archbishop Desmond Tutu meeting up with a murderer Piet Blomfield who is searching for salvation. The film will be directed by Roland Joffe of 'The Killing Fields' fame. Forrest Whitaker was chosen for the film as he was perfect for the role of the character according to the team.
