The Accidental Prime Minister is the biographical film, which had been highly expected in the recent days, as it is the biopic on
Manmohan Singh, the former Indian PM. The film scripted by Mayank Tewari and directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte is based on the book of the same name written by Sanjaya Baru, the political commentator. Rudra Production and Pen India Limited produced the biopic and Sudip Roy and Sadhu Tiwari composed the music. Sachin Krishn cranked the camera and “
K L Praveen” is the editor.
Anupam Kher played Manmohan Singh and
Akshaye Khanna played Sanjaya Baru. The film has the supporting cast of
Suzanne Bernert, Divya Seth Shah,
Arjun Mathur, Abdul Quadir, Vimal Verma, Avter Saini,
Anil Rastogi, Ajit Satbhai and Chitragupta Sinha. Although all of them had played well, it is Akshaye and Anupam Kher, who stay in the minds of the audiences. Anupam’s expressions and dialogue delivery are good. It is one among the good biopics in the recent days.
