When Indian cinema somehow recovered in 2022, everyone waited for the return of the big-ticket blockbusters. However, for Bollywood, the wait was extended till mid-2023. If you leave aside a few mavericks, not even the best could save the day!
Now it looks like one of them is back to restoring the lost glory of Bollywood. Yes, we are talking about Ajay Devgn. For all the PR gimmicks, 2023 was no better than 2022 for Bollywood, unless some wish to believe in manipulated figures. But with ‘Shaitaan’, Ajay Devgn has proved he is one of the few actors who understand mass and class superbly.
As ‘Shaitaan’ is all set to breach the 150-crore mark by the end of March, it is well on course to be a ‘Blockbuster’, only the 2nd Hindi film in 2024 to do so after ‘Article 370’. This has given Ajay the confidence to carry his packed schedule in style!
