, who is known for doing biopic films, including the soon-to-be released Manjhi: The Mountain Man, has said, "Truth has more amazing qualities than fiction. When I make a film on a real life story the believability factor is more because people know that this is a real story".
After Dashrath Manjhi dies in Bihar, the director has learnt about his story and went into his house. Ketan was reluctant at first if it is a real story and even questioned, how can a person carve a path from a mountain using only his chisel and hammer. But then, he realized that Dashrath’s story is something that needs to be told because it is very inspirational.
