A new biopic is on the cards.
Nazir Wani’s tumultuous life will be portrayed soon on the silver screen. The movie is titled ‘Ikhwan’, and it will be produced by Baweja Studios, which is currently led by

Harman is quite excited about this project, and he mentioned how this will be a noble tribute to the life of Nazir Wani, who chose a better path, and died a hero.
In case you don’t know, Nazir Ahmad Wani was a former militant, who realized the futility of his struggle, and soon joined a counter insurgent unit. When his unit ‘Ikhwan’ was disbanded, he joined the Territorial Army division of Indian Army, and won many gallantry awards for his counter insurgency operations. He was unfortunately martyred during a similar operation in 2018, but his actions earned him a posthumous Ashok Chakra, which is the highest peacetime gallantry award for any Indian.
However, Nazir Wani is not the only warrior whose legacy shall be retold.
