Shahwar Ali has done some small roles in a few Hindi and South Indian films; yet those roles were significant. But in June this year, a new soap opera titled " Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma" was launched on Zee TV channel, where Ali is seen in an entirely new avatar. The daily soap is set in the partition era and the story revolves around a woman named Zeenat, who becomes a public figure when she begins to fight for her rights. Zeenat's husband leaves her and their two kids to survive on their own. Ali, who plays the role of a lawyer Parvez, comes into the picture during this time. He has worked out really well to get into his character so as to make his Television debut a success. His looks in the drama are inspired by Kishore Kumar, while his hairstyle is influenced by Sunil Dutt and Amitabh Bachchan. The show's first season will have 52-episodes, and it airs every weekend on Zee.
