We now have the answer from the man himself. In a recent interview to a YouTube channel, the actor revealed how he was ‘blacklisted’ in a concerted campaign for having rejected a major project.

As per Siddhant, he was approached by a casting director for a major project. However, Siddhant was not impressed with the reluctance of the makers regarding the script, and rejected it. Unfortunately, that decision proved too costly for him, and a closet boycott was announced for Siddhant by some casting directors.

Siddhant even revealed that rumors were circulated about him, that he was uncouth and arrogant, something he did not subscribe to at all.
