has spanned over a few years in Kannada, Kodava and Konkani films. Also, she has bagged the State Awards for her contribution in movie ‘Thamasu’. She has also got an offer in Telugu movies. Also, there is a thriller set to be made in various languages. The movie is yet to be titled.
In an interview, Harshika blamed directors for not identifying the talent pool in Kannada actresses. Also, she proved her accusation by citing that other state actresses are seen prominently in Kannada movies. She vented her grievance on the criticism that Kannada actresses are not on par with other South Indian actresses and Hindi actresses. Only when Kannada actresses brave the odds and act in other language movies, they are noted by directors, said Harshika. Also, she included that the thriller is to be made in Bangalore location.
Harshika said optimistically that language has never proven to be a barrier for her. Actresses aim for awards, and they hesitate to dub for themselves in other languages. But Harshika is to dub for herself in her upcoming Kannada flicks.
