There have been a number of Kannada movies making emergence of late. Vijayakumar, who is a doctor from West Indies has made a return as producer and director for the movie Punaarambha. Dr Vijayakumar signed off from movies when he was in a good position. He has served as an ophthalmologist for ten years. He is back with his wife Dr Roopa who is an anesthesia specialist.
