It seems new in the recent history of the Kannada film industry. The Kannada movie, “3 Bittawaru Oorige Doddawaru” was denied a censor certificate from the regional censor board. The regional censor officer says that the main theme is very sensitive, and it might hurt the religions and communities. Though there is an indirect message given by the movie, it might be misunderstood by the people. So, they have refused to censor it and provide the certificate. The director of the movie, "Basavaraj Koppal" says that the movie is against the superstitions, and it is based on the dialogues of Basavanna. The movie was sent to the censor board last month, and the officials watched it and denied to provide the certificate and sent a letter regarding this to the makers. Will the movie be considered again? Or will the makers dub the movie and take it to some other state for the release? Let us wait and watch!
