', one among the noted directors won the acclaim as the Padmashri. The Public Works Minister happens to be Dr HC Mahadevapa who presented the Dr 'Vishnuvardhana' award for his vital role in the field of cinema in numerous roles. The occasion that was held I Sahitya Parishat. Dr Kasaravalli received the award. He said that he holds a higher liking for cinema and literature. He said that he made an entry into the field of cinema during the 1970s.
Receiving an award with his name in it is indeed a prestige for me I took efforts to narrate a story to him, but I could not be successful in the effort. Actually, I studied medical science. And, it was an accident that I made an entry into the cinema field. I had several unexpected surprises in my life. The field of Kannada literature and the Pooja Film Institute education brought me to a different level, said Dr GK. Kannada Sahitya Parishat Presidnet Dr Manu Baligar took up as the president of the event. Also, Dr Vishnu Sene, and president Veerakaputra was there for the occasion.
