The shooting is wrapped up and the film is all set to release in July.
Recently, the film was sent to the regional censor board for certification.
But, the censor board officials denied certifying saying that Bats are used in Kalpana 2 and hence the filmmakers should get a No-objection certificate from Animal Welfare Board of India.
But, the makers said that they were not real bats and were created by the VFX works. So, they sent a CD related to that to the censor board.
But, the board said that the CD sent by the filmmakers failed to open and hence they need a fresh CD.
So, the makers are making it ready.
However, the audio of the film was launched, a couple of days back.
We hope the film will be released on the expected date!
