, who comes from a family which gives more importance to academics and never wanted her to pursue a career in any of her hobbies, kept her family in the dark about her stint as an actress in the movie’ Suli’. The actress who has earlier worked as an RJ and anchor proudly tells the media that she holds a Masters Degree and never had she thought of making a career in acting until recently when she came to know about the auditions through her college professor.
Pragati plays the role of a speech impaired girl in this film. Since she had no experience in acting, director P H Vishwanath arranged a 15-day acting workshop for her. He even asked her not to learn the sign language and instead adopt her own style.
