, the actor, director cum producer, filed his nomination in Bangalore, today. He will be contesting in the Lok Sabha polls 2019 from Bangalore Central as an Independent candidate. Now, he is booked in a case for violating the model code of conduct.
They have filed a complaint against Prakash Raj for speaking in the mike addressing the public on 12th March 2019. It was not a political event, but it had banners and media people were present. Someone who attended the meeting forwarded the audio recorded at the event to the police officials. But, before the flying squad reaches the place, they all dispersed, stated the police.
The police had filed a case under the Representation of People Act, and the Karnataka Police Act!
